Miriam Margolyes has shared the secrets of her decades-long romance with Heather Sunderland.
The British-Australian actress and her partner, who likes to stay out of the spotlight, have been together for 55 years.
“I just think you have to tell the truth, never let the sun go down on a quarrel, listen to the other person and don’t seek – don’t play with your happiness,” the 82-year-old told l Australian show The Project. Friday night.

Miriam met Heather, 80, through a mutual friend while working on a BBC radio series after Miriam graduated from Cambridge University.

Heather is an Australian historian and former professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
Heather first met Miriam in 1967 and the two have been together ever since.
