‘But they stick with it and I do cameos and people say ‘Oh we’re having a Harry Potter wedding’ and I think ‘gosh, what fun their first night is going to be. I can’t even think about it.

One TikTok user said: ‘So there’s an age for movies and when you have to stop watching, yeah, no, love the Harry Potter series.’

Another wrote: ‘Why do we have to give up things we love just because we grow up? Some of us aren’t done having fun yet.’

Another user said: ‘I just had a Harry Potter marathon and I’m 30 years old so NO.’

One user added: ‘You can never be too old for Harry Potter. I just started reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone which is amazing. People need a fantasy world to relate to, to escape from the real world sometimes.’

The Harry Potter films spanned eight films, with the first airing on November 16, 2001, and the last on July 15, 2011.

A TV reboot is in the works at HBO Max and is expected to hit screens in 2026.
