Mila Kunis revealed that she told husband Ashton Kutcher that investing in Uber was “the worst idea ever.”
The 37-year-old actress appeared on Thursday’s episode of The late show and told host Stephen Colbert that she had previously confronted her husband with his investment prospects.
The show’s host broached the topic of conversation by noting that his guest’s husband was known for his various ventures.
Looking back, Mila Kunis said she told her husband, Ashton Kutcher, investing in Uber was “ the worst idea ever ” during her performance on The Late Show on Thursday.
“I’m a big consumer, I feel like I have a really good instinct for consumer goods, and so when it comes out of our personal account, I research all the companies,” she noted.
Kunis went on to say that her husband “will bring companies to me and would say,” here’s a company we think we are investing in. “
The Bad Moms star then recalled her husband putting forward the idea of investing in Uber in the early stages of their relationship.
She said: ‘Early on in our dating, two things came up. He said, “Hey, there’s some kind of a company, it’s kind of a ride … it’s like a taxi company, but anyone can drive the taxi.” ‘

Not too happy: Kunis added she was ‘furious’ that her husband was interested in a stranger driving her around
Kunis then told Colbert that she was unenthusiastic about the investment prospect and said to her husband, “That’s the worst idea ever.”
“I was like,” You’re going to put me in a car with a stranger? What’s wrong with you? ” For example, I was furious with him, ”she added.
The forgotten Sarah Marshall actress further noted that her 43-year-old husband later put forward the idea of investing in an increasing economic prospect.
Kunis recalled, ‘He put me down and said,’ Hey, I have to explain this to you, tell me if I’m crazy … there’s something, it’s like mining for money, it’s called cryptocurrency, it’s called Bitcoin. . ”
Big chance: Family Guy’s voice actress then noted that her husband was also investing in Bitcoin, which she was also skeptical about
She added, “I said,” This is a terrible idea, “and he said,” Cool, we’re investing in it. “
Colbert, 56, briefly interrupted the actress’s story, saying that a former colleague suggested getting into cryptocurrency years ago and regretted not doing so.
In particular, the comedian noted that his friend “ reminds me weekly that if we had started mining Bitcoin years ago, I could end this bullshit comedy career at this point. I feel like an idiot. ”
Kunis concluded with a statement of confidence in her husband’s investment philosophy and that while many of his ideas may seem risky at first, she is usually happy with the outcome.
