Mike Zimmer mentioned one of the most important plays of his life – getting down on one knee and proposing to beautiful model girlfriend Katarina Miketin – with the model saying yes.
The 68-year-old Zimmer is currently the Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator, taking over the vacancy left by current Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn.
Zimmer met Miketin during his seven seasons as head coach of the Minnesota Vikings.
Miketin does previously revealed that her parents were “immigrants from the former Yugoslavia, which is now considered Serbia.”
Miketin, who is 42 based on other reports, announced her engagement to Zimmer on social media on Saturday with a collage of photos of the couple.
Zimmer isn’t the only former NFL head coach to publicly reveal his relationship with a much younger woman, as Bill Belichick, 72, is dating 24-year-old Jordon Hudson.

“Five years ago they told us we had to meet… God knew what He was doing. I thank Him for you, my best friend… so of course… I said yes!”, Miketin said on Instagram.
Miketin has 400,000 followers on Instagram alone and appeared on the cover of Maxim Magazine in Australia.
She has been photographed with Zimmer in Cowboys gear and at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
Zimmer was previously married before his wife, Vikki, passed away in 2009 at the age of 50. The couple had three children together.
Rumors of Miketin and Zimmer dating started in 2020, when they were spotted together at a Vikings game. Miketin confirmed their romance shortly afterwards.
