- Jake Paul and Mike Tyson stepped on the scale Thursday night before their fight
- Friday’s fight will be in front of about 70,000 fans and will be broadcast on Netflix.
Mike Tyson slapped Jake Paul at their ceremonial weigh-in Thursday night.
Paul and Tyson stepped on the scale just 24 hours before meeting in the ring at AT&T Stadium in Texas.
After they both intervened, the pair teamed up for their usual showdown, but Tyson took the opportunity to lash out and slapped the YouTuber.
Tyson and Paul quickly parted ways, before Iron Mike was asked for his final words before his first professional fight in almost two decades.
Tyson simply responded, “The conversation is over,” before walking off stage.
But Paul was left furious by his opponent’s actions and vowed to make Tyson pay.
‘Mike Tyson, I thought that was a nice slap, man. But tomorrow they will knock you out,’ Paul told Ariel Helwani.
‘I’m fucking it up, Ariel. I’m screwing it up. Hit like ab****. It’s personal now! He must die!’
Moments before, Tyson weighed just over a pound more than Paul. Having previously operated as a cruiserweight, Paul bulked up to face Tyson and weighed in at 227.2 pounds.
Tyson then wore Versace pants and looked in incredible condition, especially considering he turned 58 in July, when he tipped the scales at 228.4 pounds.
