They’ve been making love shows all week, and today was no different with Mike and Zara Tindall posing affectionately arm in arm on the last day of the Cheltenham Festival.

Princess Anne’s daughter, 41, and her rugby ace husband, 44, were beaming as they stopped to take pictures on arrival at the historic racing event.

The couple looked typically chic with mother-of-three Zara opting for a Laura Green long coat which she paired with a vibrant pink Juliette Botterill hat.

She completed her simple yet elegant look with a pair of black Stuart Weitzman boots and a dazzling set of Laurence Coste earrings.

Her husband, who couldn’t resist joining some race-goers in a selfie, looked equally sophisticated in a checked suit.

The couple were joined at the event by Princess Anne, who braved the mud in her suede boots for the start.

The down-to-earth princess royal seemed delighted to be attending the event alongside her daughter and son-in-law.

And he showed his resilient nature by trudging through the muddy grass at the racecourse this afternoon.

Zara and Mike have had a busy few days at the festival as they enjoyed the St. Patrick’s Day themed occasion yesterday and Ladies Day on Wednesday.

The pair, who share a passion for horse racing, are often full of affection for each other, though they were a little more restrained today than they were at racing events in recent months.

They left royal fans hysterical in January during their appearance at the Magic Millions Festival on the Gold Coast in Australia as they had fun with friends as they posed for photos, stuck out their tongues and kissed, while making silly faces.

The Cheltenham Festival, which dates back to the early 19th century, has introduced a new “inclusive” dress code this year, which organizers hope will make viewers feel “safe and comfortable” for their visit.

But even though dresses, heels, and hats are no longer required, the glamorous guests still chose to pull out all the fashion stops for the annual event.

The official dress code for this year’s festival, posted on the event’s website, outlines exactly what race-goers should consider when choosing an outfit.

He says: ‘For some, wearing a nice sweatshirt, a clean pair of jeans and sneakers is what makes them feel confident and comfortable.

“For others, they may prefer to turn heads in a fancy suit or a glamorous dress and high heels, especially for one of our big races.

“But whatever your tastes, the most important thing when choosing your outfit is, of course, comfort and confidence.

“So, wear what feels right to you and it will keep you feeling your best from start to finish, whatever the weather,” the statement concluded.
