Bridges has not missed a game in six seasons and has extended his streak of games played to 472.
That’s currently the longest active streak among NBA players, and Bridges has done it for multiple teams.
Bridges was selected 10th overall to the Philadelphia 76ers and was then immediately traded to the Phoenix Suns.
He has played in every game since then, even when he was traded to the Brooklyn Nets as part of the Kevin Durant trade.

While Bridges’ mark of 472 games is notable (and the current best mark in the league), it is still a long way from the record.
That is held by three-time NBA champion and former star of the Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat, AC Green.
Green’s record still stands at an impressive 1,192 games, the equivalent of 14.54 NBA seasons.
For Bridges to break Green’s record (excluding playoff games), he would have to play eight full seasons in the NBA plus an additional 65 games.
By then he would be 36 years old and would have played 15 seasons in the NBA.
