Mighty Ducks TV reboot is in the making for Disney + because it is revealed that filming will begin in February 2020

And Wednesday it was reported that the Mighty Ducks will be restarted on Disney +, with a TV series in the pipeline for the streaming service.
According to Discuss filmproduction of the show in Vancouver starts in February, while the screenwriter for the original 1992 film Steven Brill becomes an executive producer.

The original film follows the self-centered lawyer Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez) who becomes a coach for an ice hockey team for children as part of his service to the community.
It was briefly followed by the critically acclaimed sequel D2: The Mighty Ducks in 1994 and then D3: The Mighty Ducks in 1996.
In addition to Brill, Josh Goldsmith, Cathy Yuspa, George Heller and Brad Petrigala will also produce the follow-up series.
