The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) blocked Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard in the past days, citing its potential negative impact on innovation and growth in the cloud gaming space, and shortly after the decision was officially announced, Microsoft confirmed it would appeal to the Court of Appeal Competition in the UK against this decision.
