Sir Mick Jagger spent some quality time with his youngest son, Deveraux, in Paris this week, as he continued to celebrate his birthday.
The iconic singer, who turned 81 on Friday, appeared in good spirits as he attended the Olympics and watched fencing at the Grand Palais.
He seemed engrossed in the combat sport that involves sword fighting, staring blankly at the competition unfolding in front of him.
He was joined by his 8-year-old son Deveraux, whom he shares with girlfriend Melanie Hamrick, 37.
At one point, Mick is seen leaning towards the young man, presumably to tell him what was going on. In another shot, we see him smiling happily in his direction.

The Rolling Stones rocker wore a low-key outfit with a zip-up hoodie over a jumper and a polka dot T-shirt. He hid his famous mane under a blue baseball cap.
Meanwhile, Deveraux looked dapper in a paisley-print shirt and blazer and, like his famous father, kept his hair long.
Sir Mick has eight children and is father to Karis, 53 (by Marsha Hunt); Jade, 52 (by Bianca Jagger); Lizzie, 40, James, 38, Georgia May, 32, and Gabriel, 26 (by Jerry Hall); Lucas, 24 (by Luciana Gimenez Morad) and Deveraux.
This comes after the singer’s girlfriend Melanie shared a sweet birthday tribute for his 81st birthday earlier in the week.
The former ballet dancer, 37, posted a series of gorgeous family snaps to celebrate the singer’s special day, posing alongside her eight-year-old son Deveraux.
“Happy birthday babe! We love you ,” she wrote in her latest Instagram post.
One shot captured the loved-up couple posing for a mirror selfie while both sporting chic outfits, with Mick gently placing a hand on Melanie’s waist.
She was the epitome of class in a jewel-embellished black midi dress, while the rock legend sported a suit.

The Rolling Stones icon and the former dancer met in February 2014 while they were both on tour at a Stones concert.
They did not become closer until the singer later invited Melanie to join him for the rock band’s stop in Zurich.
Although they have never married, they have been happily dating for ten years and welcomed Deveraux in December 2016.
The lovebirds made sure to turn heads on Thursday when they put on a lively display at the Louis Vuitton Prelude to the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Mick grimaced and stretched out his hand theatrically as he walked down the event’s dark green carpet.

The event comes after Mick and the rest of the Rolling Stones concluded their Hackney Diamonds Tour in Missouri.
Hackney Diamonds were in support of their 2023 studio album Hackney Diamonds, their first studio album of original material in almost 20 years.
During their tour, the Rolling Stones were accused of “going progressive” for removing Brown Sugar from their set list.
The song is controversial for its depictions of slavery versus a sexual relationship with a black woman.
Shortly after, the Rolling Stones also released lyrics about presidential assassinations in one of their most popular hits following the assassination attempt on second-term presidential candidate Donald Trump earlier this month.
In the Stones’ 1968 classic, Sympathy for the Devil, bandleader Mick sings: “I screamed, ‘Who killed the Kennedys? ‘ Well, after all, it was you and me.”
The event comes after Mick Jagger and the rest of the Rolling Stones concluded their Hackney Diamonds Tour in Missouri.
But when she performed the song on the final three dates of her Hackney Diamonds tour in the US, which took place after the shooting of Trump on July 13, the lyrics were noticeably absent.
Instead, Mick completely removed the third verse of the famous song in live performances in Los Angeles and Santa Clara, California and Ridgedale, Missouri and instead left out the entire verse referencing the Kennedy assassinations.
In place of the third verse, Stones guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood lead an instrumental break.
The song’s original lyrics, written in 1968, asked “Who killed John Kennedy?”, but Jagger pluralized the lyrics after the assassination of JFK’s brother, Robert F. Kennedy.
