Patty and Theodore Syrek, 62 and 66, respectively, were found dead at their Kent County home on Tuesday, and their daughter's ex-husband, Nathan Board, was arrested the following night.

The junta was formally accused of assaulting, resisting or obstructing a police officer on Thursday afternoon in connection with the Syrek case, but the 33-year-old suspect is still not facing murder charges.

"At this time, we believe that the case will be resolved with this arrest," Woodlayer television broadcaster LaJoye-Young said Thursday.

"But without a doubt, if you know anything more about this incident or any event that may be related to it, we are still interested in hearing from you."

The bail of the Board has been set at $ 1 million and is being held at the Kent County Correctional Center.
