Praised by critics for Michelle’s outstanding performance, The Brothers Sun began with a bang.

Despite spending five weeks in Netflix’s Top 10 for English-language series and reaching the No. 2 position, the show struggled to secure a wide audience, according to Deadline.

It maintained a weekly view count below 7 million and fell below 2 million during its final two weeks in the Top 10 ranking.

Consequently, it failed to obtain a renewal for a second season.

Falchuk continues his professional collaboration with Netflix, maintaining an overall agreement with the streaming platform.

Meanwhile, Michelle will keep a busy schedule afterwards.
