Michelle also wore a baseball cap and a sleeveless sweater with a hood, which she placed over her head for more discretion.

The former first lady combined her loose gray top with black leggings and sneakers.

She made sure to stay hydrated when temperatures in Mallorca reached the eighties, carrying a bottle of water in her left hand.

Michelle was accompanied by a large entourage during the walk, with a maximum of nine people surrounding her at one point.

Several of them seemed to be members of their security team, and it is believed that one of them was an assistant who accompanied during Michelle's trip to Mallorca last year.

Two members of Michelle's entourage seemed to have fanny packs that actually serve as holsters, which are sometimes used to carry guns while hiding them.

Both Michelle and her husband will have a detail of the Secret Service for the rest of their lives, and Barack will have restored lifetime protection for former presidents in 2013.

Costos and Smith have long been friends with the Obamas, and have previously hosted the family several times at their Palm Springs, California residence.

Barack and Michelle flew to the glamorous house after the inauguration of Donald Trump in January 2017.

Smith, a designer, previously redecorated the Oval Office and the private rooms of Obamas during his stay in the White House.

Later, he was moved when he received the first family in his house.

"When they were here, it occurred to me that more than 50 years ago JFK had stayed close to Bing Crosby's house," Smith told Architectural Digest in 2015.

"President and Mrs. Obama basically got up in the morning at the same view of the valley." There was something charming about that thought.

"It made me contemplate all the change that has taken place in those decades, contrasting with the timelessness of this beautiful desert landscape."
