Michelle Keegan arrived with her fellow cast members to celebrate award-winning Sky comedy Brassic The big brass birthday party.

The stars of the series, the fifth series to air on September 28, gathered at venue 53Two in Manchester on Wednesday evening for the event.

The actress kept it casual as she extended her slim pins in a pair of straight-leg jeans.

The star paired the jeans with a simple cream-colored top with long sleeves and a deep neckline.

Michelle plays Erin Croft in the series which follows Vinnie O’Neill (Joseph Gilgun) and his five friends, including Michelle’s single mother character Erin.

The star completed the outfit with a pair of tan heels as she wore her hair down in curly curls.

The comedy follows the group as they struggle to make ends meet in the fictional town of Hawley, often resorting to petty crime for money.

When Dylan’s girlfriend Erin (Michelle) wants to make a fresh start in a new city, Dylan (Damien Molony) is torn between following her or staying with the friends he considers brothers.

The BAFTA-nominated series began in 2019, when season four of the show was released on Sky Max and Now TV last August.

Also present at the event was co-star and former Coronation Street actress Bhavna Limbachia, who stars in the series.

The star cut a sophisticated figure in a red power suit which she paired with a shiny gold crop top.

Bronagh Gallagher and Joanna Higson also looked sensational as they both wore an all-black ensemble.

Last month it was revealed that the show is also reportedly planning a Christmas special of the hit comedy to air this year.

In February this year, Michelle looked back on the busy time making series five by sharing a collection of behind-the-scenes photos from the set as filming came to a close.

The actress said it had been ‘chaotic chaos’ working with her co-stars on the Sky drama series, sweetly adding that she felt ‘so lucky’ to be part of the ‘special’ show.

Beaming alongside co-stars such as Aaron Heffernan and Lee Mack, who joined the show for the new series, others showed her off for a few snaps with the production crew.

The brunette beauty used the caption to reflect on the filming, writing: ‘Wrap on Brassic season 5!!!

‘I can’t believe how quickly the last six months have gone by, six months full of chaotic chaos, freezing cold locations and a lot of love and dedication. I feel so lucky to be working on such a special show. ✨
