Michelin-star chef is ‘flown from the UK to Sydney to cook for Taylor Swift and her entourage’ during megastar’s Eras Tour in Australia

A Michelin-starred chef has reportedly flown from the UK to Sydney to cook for Taylor Swift and her team as the star continues her sold-out Eras Tour.

According Yahoo LifestylecBoss Clare Smyth made the 21-hour trip in case Swift felt like dining at her stylish restaurant Oncore by Clare Smyth, which is located inside the Crown Sydney, where Swift is staying.

Swift, 34, reportedly rented the Crown’s presidential penthouse, which normally costs A$25,000 a night, and on Thursday her boyfriend Travis Kelce arrived in Sydney to join her.

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, a source said Crown was so excited by the crowd generated by Swift’s stay that they are eager to make her stay a fairytale.

“They have spared no expense, increased security and made staff sign confidentiality agreements to ensure your stay is perfect.”

The source claimed that Irish-born Smyth was planning to travel from the UK to Australia before Swift had booked her stay at the Crown, in case Swift decided to visit her restaurant while she was in Sydney.

With stunning panoramic views of Sydney Harbour, Clare Smyth’s Oncore has been named one of theAmong the fifty best restaurants in the world according to the prestigious La Liste awards.

Prices reach a dazzling price. $330 for seven courses, plus $190 per person for wine pairings.

Smyth confirmed she had returned to Sydney on Wednesday and shared a video of her arriving at her restaurant.

“Back at the service of the team,” wrote Smyth, the first and only chef in Britain to hold three Michelin stars.

She later shared a photo of her colleague, chef Alan Stuart, preparing food in the kitchen with a stack of handmade friendship bracelets.

‘Alan Stuart is excited about Taylor Swift’s concert!!’ he wrote, adding an audio clip from Swift’s hit song, Style.

Swift is preparing to perform four shows in Sydney from Friday, February 23 to Monday, February 26, and her boyfriend Travis is expected to attend to support her.

More than 300,000 Swifties are expected to flock to Sydney’s Accor Stadium this weekend for their long-awaited Eras Tour concerts.

Clare confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that she had arrived in Australia, sharing an Instagram Story saying she was “back in service to the team.”

She also hinted at Taylor’s possible booking at her restaurant by sharing a photo of head chef Alan Stuart preparing food wearing friendship bracelets.

‘@alan.stuart is excited about @taylorswift concert!’ she captioned the snap while using Taylor’s song ‘Style’ in the background.

Clare Smyth is notably the first and only chef to run a three-Michelin-starred restaurant thanks to her Core restaurant in London.

She previously worked with Gordon Ramsey for 13 years and was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to the hospitality industry in 2013.

Clare is a favorite of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and even catered the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding reception in 2018.

He has also made numerous appearances on MasterChef Australia in recent years, so there is a chance he could appear in the upcoming sixteenth season of the reality show which is currently filming in Melbourne.
