  • Woke author Robin DiAngelo believes that because Adam and God are depicted as white men, the artwork represents white patriarchy.
  • She not only believes that Caucasians have dominance, but that they are also afraid.

Michelangelo’s masterpiece, The Creation of Man, on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel is a symbol of white supremacy, according to a woke writer.

The world-renowned artwork showing a white-skinned Adam extending his hand towards God has come under fire.

It has been called “the perfect convergence” of Caucasian dominance.

American author Robin DiAngelo, known for her strong woke opinions, attacked the legendary Italian artist on Jalon Johnson’s ‘Not Your Ordinary Parts’ podcast.

The offended author said: “The only image I use to capture the concept of white supremacy is Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, God creating man.”

“You know, where God is on a cloud and there are all these angels and he comes up and knocks – I don’t know who it is, David or something – and God is white and David is white and the angels are white.”

‘That’s the perfect convergence between white supremacy and patriarchy, right?’

DiAngelo believes white people ensure they maintain their patriarchy by reproducing whiteness in “everyday narratives” to spread a common notion that being white is the norm.

Not only does she believe that white people are a patriarchy that keeps other races subjugated, but she is also convinced that white people have an innate fear.

In his 2018 book, ‘White Fragility,’ he wrote: ‘White people in the United States and other white settler colonialist societies live in a racially insular social environment.

‘This isolation increases our expectations of racial comfort and at the same time reduces our resistance to withstand racial stress.

I call this lack of racial resistance White Fragility.

‘White fragility is a state in which even a minimal challenge to the white position becomes intolerable, triggering a series of defensive movements including: argumentation, invalidation, silence, withdrawal, and claims of having been attacked and misunderstood.

“These measures work to restore white racial balance and maintain control.”

‘White Fragility’ jumped to number one on the New York Times bestseller list following the murder of George Floyd.

As well as royalties from the book, which at one point reportedly sold 20,000 copies each week, he is also said to have made more than half a million pounds in the year after Floyd’s death from speaking events.
