Sky Sports presenter Abigail Davies was forced to apologize after Michael van Gerwen swore in his post-match interview following his victory over Chris Dobey at the World Darts Championship.
Three-time world champion Van Gerwen thrashed Dobey 6-1 to book his place in the final at Alexandra Palace.
And speaking to Davies after his victory, Van Gerwen said he had “already won everything”, in response to a question about where he would qualify if he triumphed in tomorrow’s final.
“We will have to apologize for the language used,” said Davies as the Dutchman shrugged.
Van Gerwen was in excellent form in the semi-final as he defeated 15th seed Dobey to reach a seventh world final.
His opponent will be Luke Littler or Stephen Bunting, who will meet in the other semi-final on Thursday night.

Van Gerwen beat Chris Dobey to reach the final of the World Darts Championship
Van Gerwen said: “I’m in the final, I’ve already won everything, I need to make sure I do it in the final.”
“I’m here with a mission, with a goal, you’re always going to have ups and downs, today I showed maturity, even when I wasn’t at my best I produced some good things at the right times and that gives me confidence.” .
‘Winning in the semi-final means a lot to me. What do I always say, we are not even close yet, we are still very far away.
‘Tomorrow will be another day. The title is still far away, that’s what I have to tell myself, I don’t want to make mistakes, I want to keep fighting.’
The crowd at Alexandra Palace laughed as the 35-year-old dropped the F-bomb live on Sky Sports, with Davies apologizing for the language.
Van Gerwen was too strong for Dobey, as he averaged just under 100, threw eight 180s and made three checkouts of over a ton, including a majestic 158.
