Michael Schumacher’s former manager has questioned the F1 legend’s daughter’s decision to change her name following her marriage last month.
Schumacher’s daughter Gina married her boyfriend Iain Bethke at the family’s £27million luxury villa in Mallorca at the end of September.
The couple said ‘I do’ under a flower arch at Villa Yasmin, the property the seven-time F1 world champion’s wife, Corinna, is believed to have bought in 2017 from Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez.
Willi Weber, 82, was not even invited to celebrate Schumacher’s daughter’s wedding despite having been her manager throughout her career and has now criticized Gina’s decision to change her name.

In response, Weber said: ‘Why would you leave out such an important name? I don’t understand!’
‘Give up a name like that. It’s a brand. He is connected to his father. I wouldn’t have done that. But that’s your decision! The other is my opinion.
However, it seems that Weber was a little wrong in his criticisms.
Gina, who has built a strong reputation as an equestrian, opted for the name ‘Gina Schumacher Bethke’ when she competed in a recent tournament in Texas.
However, Bild further states that among her circle of friends she is known as ‘Gina Bethke’, supporting Weber’s claims.
Her Instagram name is still ‘Gina Schumacher’.
She lives with her husband Iain in Gordonville, Texas, where the couple runs a ranch and raises Quarter Horses.
Earlier this month, Weber revealed that she wouldn’t have been able to attend the ceremony anyway due to health issues and opened up about why she already “said goodbye to Michael.”

Weber oversaw Schumacher’s career and won seven World Drivers’ Championships.
Horse enthusiasts Gina and Iain made their relationship official almost seven years ago.
‘It was my fault for not visiting Michael after the accident and not being by his side. Because I thought the media reports were exaggerated.
‘I thought it would be better to wait a few days and then everything would be fine. But it was too late. For a long time I blamed myself for not reacting immediately.
“Since then, I have said goodbye to Michael in my heart to find peace again.”
There is no bad blood between Weber and Schumacher, 55, who has not appeared publicly since suffering a serious head injury while skiing in the French resort of Meribel in 2013.
“I haven’t had contact with the family for more than ten years, I can barely remember what happened,” he added.
‘I wasn’t invited to the wedding, but I wouldn’t have gone anyway because my health is not good at the moment. I wouldn’t have wanted to fly to Mallorca.
‘Michael was one of my best friends. More like a son I never had. “No one knows exactly what is happening with him today, so I don’t want to comment further.”
The ceremony was held at the family’s £27million mansion in Mallorca, which Schumacher is believed to have bought in 2017 from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
BILD has stated that it is “very likely” that Michael was at his daughter’s wedding despite his health.
Guests are said to have included Michael’s brother, Ralf, and his partner, Etienne Bosquet-Cassagne, who became embroiled in a dispute with the former’s ex-wife, Cora, over her claims that she felt “stabbed in the heart” after discovering that he was gay.
The villa has an airstrip and he is regularly flown from the family home by Lake Geneva in Switzerland to the villa in Port d’Andratx.
It is part of a 15,000 square meter estate that has two swimming pools, a helipad, a gym and a huge garden surrounded by palm trees.
