Michael Rowland has announced his retirement from ABC News Breakfast.
The 55-year-old broke the news to viewers on Monday morning’s show, revealing that his last show would be on December 13.
“I love working on News Breakfast,” Rowland announced. ‘Every morning there is a lot of activity and it is by far the best job I have had at ABC.
‘But after 15 years of starting at 3am, my body is screaming “enough!” The hours have finally caught up with me.’
