Michael Phelps gave swimming lessons to hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg as he continues to take part in Olympic festivities in Paris.

Snoop Dogg has been one of the most prominent non-athlete stars in Paris for his unwavering support of Team USA at every event. The rapper also provides content and commentary for NBC during the games.

On Tuesday, the network aired a segment in which Snoop Dogg met with the most decorated Olympian for a swimming lesson.

“Now, MP, how do you get so fast in the pool?” Snoop Dogg asks Phelps in the video.

“Wingspan and lung power,” Phelps replied.

“You just described me,” Snoop Dogg replied with a laugh. “You said wingspan and lung power. I definitely have some serious lung power.”

The “lung power” comment drew laughter from Phelps, as the Long Beach native is known for his cannabis smoking habits.

Snoop Dogg was then shown swimming in the pool, in his non-Olympic form. Afterwards, Phelps showed that he hadn’t lost his rhythm even though his playing days were behind him.

The American holds a record 28 Olympic medals, 23 of which are gold.

“Mike, you make this look too easy,” Snoop Dogg said. “You see, I’m in a position to win the gold medal. And he’s still in a position to win the gold medal, as we speak.”

Despite not having Phelps on the team, Snoop Dogg supported the American swimmers over the weekend as he cheered and celebrated Team USA’s gold medal in the 4×100 freestyle relay.

Caeleb Dressel, Chris Guiliano, Jack Alexy and Hunter Armstrong formed the team and secured the victory comfortably. The quartet clocked a time of 3:9:28, followed by Australia in second place with a time of 3:10:35.

Snoop Dogg was also chosen as one of the people in charge of carrying the Olympic torch through the French capital before the opening ceremony.
