Just two days after his shock from KC Osborne was revealed, Married At First Sight’s Michael Goonan claimed that his parties played no part in their breakup.
Appears on Nova FM’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny On Monday, the 28-year-old former reality star was asked outright if his love for a drink had demanded his romance.
“No, I haven’t really gone. Lockdown was there, you know. It had nothing to do with that at all, ”he said.

He added, “It was just a clash of personalities, and we both want to go different ways in our lives.”
Despite being both paired up with other people, Michael and KC, 31, started dating shortly after meeting the season of Married At First Sight this year.
The millionaire businessman admitted “it was a bit difficult to date in isolation,” claiming they never got a break from each other.

But he insisted their split was “very amicable,” saying they remain on good terms, with KC returning from Michael’s Melbourne home to Sydney.
“Look, let’s face it, this is the best kind of break we’ve had. It’s very friendly, we’re good buddies, ”he said.
“She’s leaving tonight, we spent a few more nights together.”

KC announced the split on Instagram on Saturday with a long and emotional post.
She admitted that the split “hurts like hell” and that while she thought Michael was her “forever” they just couldn’t cover the distance.
While KC didn’t go into detail about the breakup, she said she hopes Michael can “make some changes” and said she wishes him nothing but the best.

“It’s not my place to talk about Michael personally, but I do hope Michael makes some changes because I will always believe in his potential and wish for blessings on his life,” she said.
KC explained that the couple had been together for nearly five months and that their time living together in Melbourne’s closed city “felt like a lifetime.”
“Michael became my best friend and five months felt like a lifetime of isolation. I packed my bags and pulled with him hoping this would last my life forever, “she wrote.
