Michael Douglas was seen returning to school to catch up with old friends at his alma mater.

The Oscar-winning actor spent Wednesday afternoon with his friends at the Goleta campus of the University of California, Saint Barbara.

As seen in these exclusive photos from DailyMail.com, the 79-year-old actor looked dapper in a navy suit, black shoes and dark sunglasses.

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in dramatic arts in 1968 and is now a member of its advisory board.

Douglas has made no secret of his love for UCSB.

Although he was accepted to Yale, he chose the coastal university to complete his education.

In 2004 he donated $1 million toward the construction of a Film, Television and New Media Center on campus.

To recognize his gift, the lobby of the downtown theater was named after Douglas.

‘I love UCSB and am proud to be associated with (the new center). “I have seen UCSB become an international leader in education, and as an alumnus and benefactor, I have the personal satisfaction of having played a role in that transformation,” he said at the time.

He recalled the good times with GQ magazine in 2013 and said, “I wasn’t studying anything.” Nothing. We used a lot of drugs, it was a magical time.

“I lived in a kind of commune. We rented a small A-frame house, three of us. We all swim naked, smoke a lot of weed and do drugs. We had wine stops and festivals, it was a beautiful, crazy time.”

He visited India with his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and children Dylan, 23, and Carys, 20, over the Christmas holidays.

There was no sign of his wife Catherine Zeta Jones, 54, or any of his children during the trip to his old university.

He recently visited India with Catherine and their children Dylan, 23, and Carys, 20, over the Christmas holidays.

The couple shared fun images of their adventure on Instagram.

And in January, the couple continued their vacation and went to the mountains to ski.

The couple, who share September 25 as their birthday, celebrated their 23rd anniversary in November.

Douglas also has a son, Cameron, 45, with his ex-wife Diandra Luker, 68. They were married for 23 years before finalizing their divorce in 2000.
