Michael Clarke took his four-year-old daughter Kelsey-Lee to kindergarten this morning after announcing his divorce with wife Kyly.
Australia’s former cricket captain, 39, and his seven-year-old wife were reportedly divorced in September, but kept their $ 40 million split secret until they announced last night.
This morning Clarke left his $ 12 million marital home in the exclusive suburb of Sydney in Vaucluse and drove their only child Kelsey-Lee to the preschool as usual.
With gym clothes, a cap and no wedding ring, he saw the daycare come and help Kelsey-Lee out of his BMW with four-wheel drive. He was carrying her pink school bag and holding her hand as he dropped her off.
There was no sign of Mrs. Clarke, 38, who shared the first pictures of herself last night without her wedding ring while she was training in the gym.
Clarke, who married the former model in 2012 after his divorce with his fiancée Laura Bingle in 2010, told fans in his 2016 autobiography that he was always afraid of divorce.

Clarke and Kyly (pictured on an Instagram photo in July 2019) went to high school together but were not friends until they connected on Twitter after his split with Laura Bingle in 2010
He told how his parents Les and Debbie split up after 25 years and this made him doubt whether he could ever have a relationship.
“Their disintegration touched me deeply,” Clarke wrote. “When I broke up in 2010 with my then fiance, Lara Bingle, part of the undercurrent in my thinking is that if a couple like mom and dad can’t make it, what hope do I have?
‘I don’t even want to start a serious relationship if it ends in a divorce. Mom and Dad are my heroes, and their marriage has always been a sort of golden standard [my sister] Leanne and me.
‘I can’t imagine that I would measure up to my parents’ partnership. How can I do it if they can’t? It takes a long time before I get over that fear. “
Clarke and Kyly went to high school together, but were not friends until they connected on Twitter after his divorce from Miss Bingle. He said he spoke to Kyly about his fear of divorce during the early stages of their romance.
“When Kyly Boldy and I start dating, I’ll open it up with her. There is a strong love between us that helps me overcome my self-doubt, “he wrote in the book called My Story.
The couple announced their split, an estimated $ 40 million, in a statement to the Australian newspaper on Wednesday.
High school lovers said the “amicable” decision was “the best course” for their daughter.
The news shocked the nation after Mrs. Clarke told the Daily Mail in January 2019: “We are not, were and will never be split.”
According to the Australian, the couple divorced five months ago. However, until last night Mrs. Clarke (38) continued to wear her wedding ring and pose for happy family photos in an attempt to keep up appearances.
Only two days ago she showed off the asterisk in a photo shoot that was shared on her Instagram page.

Her still decorated ring finger was visible in one of the shots as she posed with Kelsey Lee and her husband.
The following month, the Clarkes again seemed to be the perfect couple when they celebrated Mrs. Clarke’s 50-year marriage in Sydney.
Just a few days later, the couple shared a Christmas photo with Santa Claus on a Christmas Eve in Sydney Westfield with the entire Clarke clan close together for the festive photo.
But, in a sign that they were about to announce their split, the couple both posted separate photos with their daughter this week.
Kyly posted this photo of her with her daughter this week, hours before the divorce of the couple was announced. She endorsed the photo ‘it’s Wednesday. Twinning. “

The Clarkes have reportedly already reached agreement on the conditions for their divorce, as well as arrangements to make their daughter co-parent.
“After living apart for a while, we made the difficult decision to divorce like a couple,” the statement explained The AustralianRead Media Diary.
“With the utmost respect for each other, we have come to the mutual conclusion that this is the best path we can follow while we are committed to co-parenting our daughter.”

His other assets are a $ 4 million property in Bondi that he owns with his sister Leanne, who lives there with her family.
Clarke has other savings and investments worth around $ 18 million. He is co-owner of private equity firm BCXXIII alongside his friend, accountant Anthony Bell.

Kyly has 70,000 Instagram followers and sells its own homeware products through its Lyfestyled by Kyly Clarke company.
She was announced as a judge on channel 7 show show House Rules in October.

Clarke made headlines in November 2018 when he and his bikini-clad assistant, Sasha Armstrong, were seen on Sydney Harbor aboard a super yacht.
The couple enjoyed a swim in the ocean and had a long conversation while relaxing in the sun.
A ‘source’ reportedly told Women’s Day that Kyly was ‘furious’ after seeing photos of her husband Michael on a luxury yacht with his blonde assistant.
‘Of course she is annoyed by the images. Which woman wouldn’t that be? ‘A cricket insider told the magazine at the time.
Kyly rubbed the suggestion when she spoke to Daily Mail Australia in January 2019 and said her six-year marriage to Michael was still going well.
“We are not, never were, and will never separate,” she said.

“Always keep going,” Kyly said.
“Have those date nights so that you always keep everything nice and fresh.”
The split is the second of Clarke’s high-profile relationship issues.
In 2010, he revealed that he had divorced himself with fiancee Lara Bingle, who was the face of Scott Morrison’s Tourism 2006 in Australia, “where the hell are you?” Marketing campaign.
It became widely known that Bingle flushed her engagement ring down the toilet of his Bondi apartment – a claim that Clarke denied.
Clarke made his debut for Australia at the age of 21 in 2003. He was captain from 2011 to 2015 when he handed it over to Steve Smith.
