Michael Clarke’s radio debut got off to a rough start earlier this year, with the first metro survey yielding moderate results.
But the retired Australian cricketer seemed to be in good spirits on Friday as he sailed through Sydney Harbor with his Big Sports Breakfast radio cast and crew.
The 39-year-old relaxed on the deck, with company including his co-hosts, NRL great Laurie Daley and sports personality Gerard Middleton.

Michael braved the chilly temperature of Sydney in a black and white hooded sweatshirt and casual black shorts, which he paired with a black cap.
The group was treated to champagne and snacks on board, while Gerard took to his Instagram stories to share an idyllic moment as he sailed through the harbor.
Michael made his radio debut on Sky Sports Radio’s Big Sports Breakfast on March 2.

Kyly Clarke’s estranged husband replaced long-term host Terry Kennedy, who left the show in October after 18 years at the helm.
Michael is joined on the panel by Laurie, Gerard and presenter Jaimee Rogers.
According to the GfK metro radio survey conducted in mid-April of 2020, the show scored just 0.4 percent, down from their previous rating of 0.9 percent.

Adam Hamilton, head of media communications at Tabcorp, said The Daily Telegraph when the coronavirus pandemic has had a harmful effect on the radio.
“Losing most of the sports, especially NRL, combined with the search for news by listeners in this challenging time has undoubtedly impacted the show’s results,” he said.
Michael has not only made headlines for his career this year, but also his love life.

Luxury Life: Michael is often depicted relaxing on a superyacht when not at work
The sportsman revealed his divorce from wife Kyly on February 12, after seven years of marriage.
They are said to have divorced five months before the announcement.
Michael and Kyly, 38, who were high school sweethearts, said the “ amicable ” divorce decision was “ the best course ” for their four-year-old daughter Kelsey Lee.
