Micah Richards could get some glowing looks when he returns to the Sky Sports studios after assessing the toughness of his peers.

Richards is a panelist on the Sky show ‘A League of their Own’ on Thursday night and after it was revealed that he has boxed training in his spare time, the question was asked who he thinks is the strongest expert at Sky.

Jamie Redknapp, another Sky Sports pundit, is also featured in the episode ‘A League of their Own’ and he was less than impressed with Richards’ rankings.

Roy Keane, an infamous hardman in his playing days at Manchester United, was surprisingly not the man to be crowned first. But it was one of Keane’s old teammates who was labeled a “weasel” to finish at the bottom of the pile.

Former Manchester City and England defender Richards, 33, originally said as per the sun: ‘Well Souey (Graeme Souness) would be the bottom because he’s the oldest.’

Redknapp jumped to the defense of the 68-year-old former Liverpool player and manager, insisting that he is in fact very tough despite his age.

He said, “I don’t agree with you… Souey would ruin Gary Neville. Souey can fight, Souey is tough.’

That sparked laughter in the audience, and Richards admitted he’d been rushing to put Souness at the bottom of the rankings.

Souness and Richards clashed on screen last month when they became embroiled in a heated argument over Paul Pogba and Harry Kane after Tottenham beat Manchester City 1-0.

Although they disagreed on Pogba’s contribution to debates about his future at Manchester United, the two raised their voices, gestured passionately to defend their position and talked over each other.

Souness turned his back on the camera to calm down, and when the debate ended abruptly, host Dave Jones, struggling to keep control, asked to move on and talk about something else.

The fiery Scotsman is never afraid to speak his mind and Richards admitted that Redknapp was right, agreeing that ‘weasel’ Neville should be considered the softest.

Richards said, ‘Yes, of course! Gary Neville the Weasel. Of course it’s Gary Neville.

Gary Neville: Sixth. Suey fifth. Jamie celebrated.’

Redknapp was furious to face Jamie Carragher, who finished third in Richards’ standings, but the ex-Man City defender was unaffected by his colleague this time around.

Keane, who has built a bit of a bond with Richards since he became an expert at Sky Sports, was placed at number 2, while Richards supported himself as the toughest by finishing at number 1.
