The president of the United States, Donald Trump, has threatened to cut financial aid to three Central American nations for not stopping a large group of migrants heading to the United States border.

The caravan of approximately 7,000 people is traveling through 30-degree temperatures in Mexico, where locals are distributing water, sandwiches and other supplies to help immigrants and refugees.

Mexican authorities are still trying to determine how to handle the desperate influx.
