A Mexican influencer was caught smiling on camera moments after being arrested for savagely hitting a driver.
Rodolfo Marquéz, who is also known as Fofo Marquéz to millions of followers, was arrested on Thursday in connection with an assault in the parking lot of a shopping center in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, on February 22.
Shortly after, the 26-year-old smiled in a photo taken inside a patrol car while sitting between two law enforcement officers.
He was later photographed in a jail in the municipality of Tlalnepantla, again flashing a smile, while wearing a Psycho Bunny tracksuit and a pair of $1,260 Louis Vuitton sneakers.
Marquéz, who has 3.9 million followers on Instagram, later appeared much more serious in a mugshot.
Fofo Marquéz was all smiles as he sat in a police vehicle moments after his arrest Thursday.

The woman revealed that she accidentally hit the side mirror of the vehicle in which Mexican influencer Fofo Marquéz was sitting in the parking lot of a shopping center in Naucalpan and offered to resolve the dispute through her insurance provider.

Márquéz spent the night inside a cell and was expected to appear before a judge on Friday. He faces a charge of gender violence.
Images of the assault showed a man approaching the woman after his truck hit the side mirror of the car in which the influencer was traveling.
The woman could be seen opening the door of her vehicle when she was punched and kicked several times while lying on the ground.
The man then leans over the defenseless woman and delivers multiple punches before walking away.
Another video showed him arguing with two men who confronted him about the assault and attempting to kick one of them. He then reportedly fled in a vehicle driven by a female companion.

The woman was hit while lying on the ground during the altercation in the mall parking lot.
The woman, whose name is unknown, was helped by passersby, who wiped the blood from her face with a tissue and water and offered to take her to a hospital.
She said she was trying to retrieve her insurance information to share with the owner of the car Marquéz was in and believed he assaulted her because he thought she was going to leave the scene of the minor accident.
Márquéz is known for showing off his wealth on social media and was in the spotlight in 2022 when he used his fleet of luxury cars to create a huge traffic jam by closing the Matute Remus Bridge in Guadalajara.
‘We are going to close it, we are going to start dancing, making TikToks,’ Márquez promised while sitting in the passenger seat of one of his vehicles. ‘So, well, so you can see, so you can see again what money can do here in Mexico.’
The Jalisco State Attorney General’s Office launched an investigation and later reached an agreement with Márquéz, who said he would donate $2,100 to a local shelter.
