A Mets fan earned cult hero status Tuesday night when he downed nine hot dogs and nine beers during a $1 hot dog night, before being removed by security for allegedly “inciting a riot.” .

The fan apparently turned heads during the Mets’ 4-2 home win over the Cubs as he recounted his consumption of beer and hot dogs in a T-shirt that humorously read “Bad day to be a Glizzy.”

And toward the end of the game, things got a little out of hand when Mets fans started throwing hot dogs at him, apparently at his request, prompting security to remove him from Citi Field.
