Eddie Redmayne stood out from the crowd as he arrived at the 2024 Met Gala with his wife Hannah Bagshawe at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday.
The actor, 42, crossed the boundaries for fashion’s biggest night, opting for an androgynous look that he paired with his 41-year-old wife.
Eddie wore a black blazer dress with a white net skirt and sheer cutout panels and a wavy ink stain pattern.
With a cheeky peek at his legs, the Oscar winner added sleek black pumps as he snuggled up to his stunning wife.
Hannah accessorized her husband in a strapless dress with the same pattern and a corseted bodice, showing off her tiny waist.

Hannah and Eddie met in 2000 at a charity fashion show while attending Eton College, striking up a friendship.
They later began dating in January 2012, after Eddie invited her on a trip to Florence during a break from filming Les Miserables.
The couple became engaged in June 2014 and married in December of that year at Babington House.
Eddie and Hannah are the proud parents of daughter Iris, eight, and son Luke, eight and six.
The Costume Institute’s Spring Exhibition is held on the first Monday in May each year and is held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
This year the event is titled Sleeping Beauties: Fashion Awakening, while the dress code is The Garden of Time.

Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth are this year’s co-chairs. Also on the committee is Vogue Anna Wintour.
Honorary chairs for the evening are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.
“This year’s co-chairs reflect a variety of professional accomplishments and all have distinct style stories with the Met Gala,” Vogue shared.
The exhibit will feature approximately 250 items drawn from The Costume Institute’s permanent collection, and many of the pieces are too fragile to be worn again.
All pieces will be displayed using elements such as AI, GCI and more while playing land, sea and sky themes.
“It’s very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,” Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu curator in charge of the Costume Institute, said of the upcoming exhibition.
“One thing I hope this exhibition activates is that sensory appreciation of fashion.”
Guests expected to attend include the Kardashians, Blake Lively, Hailey Bieber, Sarah Jessica Parker and Timothee Chalamet.
Gwendoline Christie, La La Anthony and Ashley Graham will host, while YouTuber Emma Chamberlain is expected to interview the stars on the red carpet.
