Mikel Arteta’s men ensured the Premier League title race goes all the way after beating Manchester United on Sunday.
The north London side are one point ahead of City, who play their remaining game against Tottenham on Tuesday night.
A win or a draw for Ange Postecoglou’s men will see Arsenal take control of their own destiny ahead of the final day.
And Ozil has promised to “never make fun of” Tottenham again if they get a result that favors his former club.

Ozil posted on X: ‘First time tonight: GO ESPURSS!! If Tottenham don’t lose this game, I won’t make fun of them again… I promise.
The former German international has targeted Tottenham since his playing days and more recently.
In December he rubbed salt in the wounds of Tottenham fans after their 2-1 defeat to West Ham.
That defeat ensured that Spurs became the first team to lose three consecutive home games despite having a one-goal lead.
In response, Ozil wrote: “Who else should be able to beat that record?” Bottle Job FC is back.’
His taunts of Tottenham date back to 2019, when he mocked their lack of trophies over the past decade.
Ozil made 426 top-flight appearances in his club career, scoring 33 goals for Arsenal before retiring in March 2023 at İstanbul Başakşehir.
The 35-year-old has gone viral several times on social media this year and has focused his attention on gaining muscle mass.
