NEW YORK — Less than nine months after announcing plans to rebuild the iconic Menudo boy band, Mario López introduced the world to five new stars who represent this generation’s Latino group.
Alejandro Querales (15 years old), Andrés Emilio (14 years old), Gabriel Rossell (13 years old), Ezra Gilmore (12 years old) and Nicolás Calero (10 years old) performed their debut single “Mi Amore” live on the morning show “Good Morning America” on ABC while the music video premiered simultaneously on Billboard.
At the end of his presentation, López and the group walked to Times Square to perform a ‘social media takeover’ taking control of social networks with People en Español; then he went to 30 Rockefeller Plaza to record a segment for NBC’s Access Hollywood.
“Today’s launch is monumental and is just the beginning. The world will finally see how talented and hardworking these guys are and how good their music sounds. I couldn’t be more proud,” Mario López declared in a statement.

Also, this Tuesday, March 21, Menudo will be consummated on ABC’s Live with Kelly and Ryan and then on Fox’s Good Day New York on Wednesday, March 22.
After New York, Menudo will return to Miami for his Hispanic television debut on Univision’s “Despierta América” before reuniting with Mario López in Los Angeles for the iHeartRadio Music Awards and for a special appearance for Access Hollywood on September 31. March.
Menudo’s first single and music video, “Mi Amore,” is released by Mistar Entertainment and distributed worldwide by The Orchard; It is now available on all platforms.
