ChatGPT has proven to be the ultimate wingman among men looking for love online – the chatbot helped a Tinder user get a date in less than an hour.

Singles are leveraging the power of OpenAI’s tool to build the perfect dating profiles and responses to find a potential match as some feel dating apps have always favored women and ChatGPT helps them ‘drop the scales’ skip’.

Men go from zero dates to dozens in just the first month of using the chatbot that creates witty poems, romantic notes, and confident replies to individuals who would otherwise “have a hard time coming up with conversation starters.”

While “the results are amazing,” some people feel it’s unfair to use ChatGPT to bring in women because they don’t know they’re talking to a chatbot.

However, one Tinder user wouldn’t think twice about a little help to attract more women.

“You have to use everything to your advantage when it comes to the competitive atmosphere we call Tinder,” he recently shared in a TikTok video.

The events sound like South Park’s latest episode, “Deep Learning,” written in part by ChatGPT, in which the guys learn that the chatbot can improve their love lives. However, men have been using the technology to court women since OpenAI launched the tool in November 2022.

But it seems single people are now seeing the power of ChatGPT and hoping the technology can fill the gaps in their dating lives.

DailyMail.com asked ChatGPT, “Can you help me get Tinder dates,” and the system generated tips to increase the odds, including creating a complete and attractive profile, swiping right on interesting profiles, being persistent, and about the being generally respectful in interactions.

And while asking the AI for advice seems harmless, humans seem to be following the line when it generates entire conversations with a potential match.

TikTok user and “Tinder veteran” Dimitri shared a video in December of how he asked ChatGPT to “create a love poem about climbing a tree that is a metaphor for a six-foot girl,” which he sent to a woman who said she was six feet tall.

“OpenAI wrote this beautiful poem that I couldn’t otherwise write with my peanut brain,” Dimitri said in the video.

Her response to the AI-generated poem: “Oh my God. I’ve never had a man write a poem for me. That’s so cute. Oh my God. I love it.’

“She ate that one,” Dimitri said at the end of the TikTok video.

Leah Davina Junck, a researcher at the University of Cape Town, experimented to understand what ChatGPT means for dating apps, highlighting its use as unfair.

Wring before The conversationShe revealed that users who experimented with ChatGPT found that connecting with a match was less tedious by “replacing cringy or boring human pick-up lines with more intriguing and personalized ones.”

Things started to change when people matched and started talking to replies generated by ChatGP, which Junck licked as “catfishing.”

However, Tinder offers built-in chatbot technology to suggest pick-ups, so users can already use AI without thinking about its ethics.

“The fact that the Tinder users I interviewed kept deleting and re-downloading the app showed me there’s a willingness to persevere, to navigate through the clichéd openers and posed images to arrive at more meaningful encounters.” reads Junck’s article.

‘Experiences that didn’t feel authentic were part of that. Given that the bar is pretty low on Tinder and people tend to play it safe by not disclosing too much about themselves, bold and personalized ChatGPT might seem like a breath of fresh air at first.”

A man shared an exchange with a woman on the Tinder app and ChatGPT generated all of his messages.

As shared in a Reddit post, the conversation is slowly taking off. The chatbot says that the girl looks like Angelina Jolie, and more details are added to his messages that increase his personality and interest.

The thread is titled: “This is ChatGPT, the infamous AI Chatbot, flirting with a woman.”

A Tinder user also shared his experience on Reddit, noting that “a bot” had 13 dates planned for him in just one month.

“This all feels a bit unfair, though,” the Redditor shared.

“On the one hand, the bot has enabled me to meet more women who are compatible with me and has saved me a lot of time and effort.

“But on the other hand, I feel like I’m not sincere in my interactions.”
