The Catalan club are seeking £21.5million (€25million) for the 28-year-old and they would use that to increase their offer for Raphinha.
In a recent Twitter post, Depay is said to have commented on his situation at the club, writing: “I see how certain tactics were played around me as a footballer. It’s all good, God like this over me.. that’s why I’m favoured.
“All my life I wasn’t good enough, didn’t fit the standard looks and didn’t have the right behavior. That’s what you get from living free.’
