Locklear moved into the complex at 4616 Melrose Place for the second season. As Amanda Woodward, she caused drama among the mostly naïve residents.

According to Locklear, the first season of Melrose Place was “very boring.” They were all nice people and, really, there are bad people in the world,” according to the New York Times.

During the COVID-19 shutdowns in spring 2020, some of the show’s stars came together in a virtual reunion to support The Actors Fund.

“What I miss most is working with the group of people and the team that becomes family,” Leighton said at the time about how she felt when the show ended.

‘And that was, it was very difficult to go from having that family for several years to having that family all of a sudden, not on a daily basis.

“And I think that’s why we’ve all stayed in touch even, you know, during long periods when everyone’s life is going differently,” he continued.

“But going back to that time, I’ve always maintained that feeling of affection for this group as a family.”

Bissett discussed what it was like to be so suddenly famous when the show became a hit.
