A man has died on a footpath outside a home in western Sydney, with shocking images showing a pool of blood staining the concrete.
The grim discovery was made at around 8.45pm on Friday, with emergency services called to Georgina Crescent in Melonba, near Mount Druitt.
Despite the efforts of the first aid staff, the man, who had been found unconscious on the footpath, could not be revived.

He is believed to be in his 30s but has not yet been formally identified.
Officers from Mount Druitt Police Area Command established a crime scene and arrested another man nearby who is assisting police with their enquiries.
