Melissa Leong has proven she is more in demand than ever after leaving MasterChef Australia.
The former cooking show judge has announced another new job after landing roles in sports reporting, children’s television and the health sector.
“Everything will be revealed soon, but I’m working on another show,” the 42-year-old told Daily Telegraph this week.
Melissa added that she is gaining valuable experience by taking on so many different roles.
“I think every one of those jobs, every one of those experiences, makes me inherently better at everything, which is really exciting, and that was always the intention coming out of MasterChef and into Dessert Masters,” he said.
The TV star recently admitted that her current career path isn’t “strategic,” and that’s just the way she likes it.
‘In my time on earth so far, I have been a makeup artist; worked in advertising and public relations; been a food, travel and lifestyle journalist; worked in publishing and radio; and presented gastronomic programs on the main networks. None of this really makes strategic sense on paper,” he says. Stellar Magazine.
‘All I can say is that it has been a chain of saying ‘yes’ to opportunities that excite me and a little scare me. And I can guarantee that when I start something new, I don’t always kill it right away.

“I’m not saying I have it decided, but I have learned that you have to be willing to humble yourself in these moments of transition.”
He added: “Last year, I realized that I have confused a lot of people by diving into the world of sports journalism, specifically interviewing champion athletes in the world of mixed martial arts.”
It comes after Melissa announced she is making a childhood dream come true by appearing on ABC’s Playschool.
“I grew up watching Playschool,” she began her caption on Instagram on Sunday.
“Everything will be revealed soon, but I’m working on another show,” the 42-year-old told the Daily Telegraph this week.

“This iconic show has been a part of Australian entertainment for 60 years, so it amazes me that this week can be part of the magic.”
She continued: ‘This is the only time you’ll see me sing and dance on TV, so you know how much I wanted to do this!’
Melissa also fronted a new three-part documentary series about Australia’s healthcare system.
The TV star appeared in new SBS documentary series The Hospital: In The Deep End in June.

The program saw her spend time with medical professionals from St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney to better understand health challenges in Australia.
The former MasterChef Australia judge said TV WEEK that filming the series was a challenge.
In an interview with The daily telegraph In October, the journalist and food critic described the program as “full of heart” and “amazing people” committed to saving lives.
The food critic was booted from MasterChef Australia last year amid rumors of a feud between her and fellow judges Andy Allen and the late Jock Zonfrillo, which she has denied.
He then hosted the MasterChef spin-off series Dessert Masters alongside Amaury Guichon.
Her excitement was palpable when she recently spoke to Daily Mail Australia about her new job as a presenter on Dessert Masters, describing it as a “dream come true”.
Additionally, she announced that she would be hosting UFC Fight Week on Kayo Sports and Foxtel.
