Melissa George reveals the adorable outfit she is taking her newborn home in after giving birth at 47

Melissa George has revealed her newborn’s cute first outfit as she prepares to bring her third child home from the hospital.

On Wednesday, the Home and Away actress revealed she had given birth to her third child, a baby boy, at the age of 47, posting a black-and-white photo of the new baby’s feet on Instagram.

Later that day, she shared the clothes she picked out for him in an Instagram story.

The outfit was a little white jumpsuit with a ruffled neckline, paired with a white quilted hat and little shoes.

In the image, Melissa posted “coming home day,” followed by a white love heart emoji.

The Perth-born star shocked her social media followers in January when she confirmed she was pregnant with her third child.

The Amityville Horror star revealed her baby bump in a baggy sweater as she kissed her young son.

George also showed off her swollen stomach in a second image as she posed in a white dress and looked out the window.

Melissa shares her sons, Raphaël, nine, and Solal, seven, with her ex-partner Jean-David Blanc, a French entrepreneur.

Due to a custody agreement, their children cannot leave France with their mother without their father’s consent, meaning she is now based in Paris.

The notoriously private Melissa has not revealed whether she is in a relationship or who the father of her baby is.

She was previously married to Chilean furniture designer and director Claudio Dabed from 2000 to 2011.
