In a recent interview with The Australian Women’s Weekly, the journalist revealed that her entire family is focused on their next phase of life.

“When they are small, you know they need you,” she told the magazine.

“But I wish someone had told me that the older they get, the more they need you. It’s a patch where they really need us to get them through the next few years. ‘

The current affairs journalist added that she and her husband raised their children in a charity.

She explained that she never wanted her children to feel guilty about what they had, but encouraged them to be aware that “there is life outside this bubble.”
