A real estate agent who came up with a novel advertising campaign presenting himself as the “most handsome agent” has divided Australians.

P&G Real Estate sales consultant Noah Rezaie, 27, from Narre Warren South, has hit the headlines for his advert on the back of a bus travelling around Melbourne’s south-east.

The ad, which reads: “Voted #1 Sexiest Agent in Narre Warren South*,” clarifies the headline at the bottom of the ad.

‘*Voted for by my mother,’ it said.

A photograph of the officer is shown in a suit, including a vest, leaning on his right arm and with his left hand in his pocket, adopting a casual pose.

Mr Rezaie, who has been a real estate agent for seven years, told Daily Mail Australia that the tongue-in-cheek advert was created to attract attention.

“My colleague Melissa and I were trying to come up with a new idea, and not just the typical real estate agent ad,” he said.

‘People tend to hate estate agents because they don’t have the best reputation and I don’t blame them.

“They think they are lying to people and that they only care about money.”

Mr. Rezaie explained that he wanted to reach people through humor and show the general public that some officers are funny and care about helping people, which he also tries to express in Tik Tok.

“The ad is actually a contest. People are asked to take a photo of the ad on the back of the bus and post it to their stories,” he explained.

‘The prize is three lots of $200 vouchers. This is the second week and will last a total of three weeks.

Locals have been posting photos of the advert, which has been “viewed positively” and has received favourable comments on the agency’s Instagram account.

But once it was shared on Reddit, Rezaie admitted that public feedback was mixed, which he took in stride.

“The general public hates real estate agents, that’s how I understand it,” he said.

‘The ad hasn’t yet attracted any more customers, but ads like this can take time. And it’s only been up for a little over a week.

The agent said that while he hoped the humorous phrase “Voted for by my mother” would ensure others knew the agency was joking, some locals have still taken the announcement seriously.

“Looks like a cheaper version of James Franco,” one Reddit user said.

“It looks like the back of a bus to me,” said another.

“If they hadn’t cropped the photo, it would show her brown (faux) leather shoes, no socks,” another wrote.

Some saw the bold ad as another reason to hate real estate agents.

“Well there you have it, I really can’t think that highly of real estate agents,” wrote one.

“At least he admits he doesn’t need any skills to do his job,” said another.

Others could see the agent’s creative and humorous bent in the commercial.

‘This is going to be an unpopular opinion… but a real estate agent’s job is to get your home seen, talked about and sold. Everyone is talking about him… this guy knows what he’s doing,’ wrote one.

“Ah, he got you, hook, line and sinker! Next time, ignore these morons,” wrote another.
