A desperate search is underway for a registered sex offender who disappeared after being released from jail.
Dylan Jones, 25, has not been seen since his recent release and has not reported to Victoria Police, which is part of his strict parole conditions.
He was registered as a sex offender after being convicted of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in 2020.
He is also alleged to have been involved in other serious crimes.
Jones is described as 180cm tall, with a stocky build, black hair, brown eyes and tanned skin.
