A postman crashed into a car in Boronia, in Melbourne's east, on Thursday morning.

A woman has been praised for hugging a postman after he accidentally crashed his motorbike into the side of her car.

The woman was turning left onto a main road in Boronia, in Melbourne‘s this, Thursday morning.

She had to slow down because a vehicle in front of her was turning into a gasoline season.

The mailman behind her had been looking in the other direction to see if there was oncoming traffic and hadn’t seen her car stop in front of him.

He then crashed into the right side of the vehicle and was thrown off his motorcycle upon impact.

A postman crashed into a car in Boronia, in Melbourne’s east, on Thursday morning.

The accident left him lying on the road while several of the packages he was going to deliver fell to the ground.

The driver of the blue car got out and walked towards him before hugging him.

Another passerby checked on the postie and began helping him clean up the mess.

The images were shared on Facebook and social media users praised the woman for her kind act.

“Give that lady a cape,” one wrote.

‘Thank you for putting humanity first. ‘How much less stressful this simple act of humanity has made this situation!’ said another.

“If only everyone on the road responded like these two,” another comment read.
