A Melbourne cafe has framed a brutal criticism of a star who called the staff ‘hipster t*ssers’ after the incident led to a boom in business.
The cafe received the review after a customer was given a flat white instead of a latte, which he claimed the staff refused to remake.
He then warned that the place would have a hard time keeping its doors open, as he and his large office of colleagues would be taking their business elsewhere.
But the owner says the cafe has thrived since the incident, even though other businesses were forced to close as operating costs soared along with inflation.

A regular customer of the cafe posted a photo of the framed review on Reddit with mixed opinions from other users.
It is a coffee with milk and a flat white. the difference is so marginal that it’s like having a cry about rock salt and pink salt. get off your horse and drink your too milky coffee,” wrote one user.
“That’s a lot of vitriol for 0.5cm of foam,” wrote another.
Other users were more critical of the cafe’s efforts to frame the review rather than rectify the order at the time.
This is not ridiculous enough to be worth framing. It leaves out too much context that could actually warrant a bold critique,” wrote one user.
“All of this makes this cafe look silly,” wrote a second.
“I’m buying coffee 5 days a week at $6 each for 50 weeks or so… if the service sucks and they make fun of customers, I’m only going to spend $1500 or so.” a year elsewhere,’ wrote a third.
The reviewer claimed neither he nor his colleagues would be returning and the venue would have a hard time keeping its doors open, however business has been booming since the incident.
The business boom in the wake of the incident goes against the current trend of hundreds of restaurants, cafes and mom-and-pop shops going to the wall across Australia.
Some hospitality venues have seen costs across all of their operating costs, from product costs to utilities.
The situation is so dire that some small business owners are even selling their homes or taking a second job to try to make ends meet.
“It doesn’t matter which way you go, they’re asking for more money,” Rocky Pitarelli, a former owner of an Italian restaurant that was forced to close, told Daily Mail Australia.
‘Chicken cost $9.80 a kilo three months ago, now it costs $11.50. An oil drum used to cost $40, now it costs $85.
“French fries, humble French fries, used to cost us $20 a box, now we’re at $67.
‘Utilities cost us $500 a month; now it is $700 and today they say it will be another 20 percent.
Electricity bills have already risen across the country, with more than 500,000 homes facing another increase of at least 20 percent this winter.
The situation is so dire that some small business owners are even selling their homes or taking a second job to try to make ends meet.
