Former President Donald Trump said his wife Melania thought his impression of President Joe Biden was too real in a speech Saturday.
Trump has said the former first lady has been his harshest critic for her raucous rallies.
It seems that Trump’s impression of President Joe Biden, his election rival, as a staggering old man may have been too close to home for Melania, as Trump explained at his Jersey Shore rally on Saturday.
He told the Wildwood crowd that he no longer does his Biden impression because Melania thought it was actually him.
“I called my wife, the great first lady,” Trump said. ‘I said, ‘First Lady, what a great speech that was?’ ‘She said, ‘You were fine.’ I said ‘What’s wrong? ‘. She said, ‘Well, you couldn’t find your way off the stage!’

He then tried to explain that he was imitating Biden ‘and they said he couldn’t find his way out, that’s what happened.’ So I have to be careful!’
Trump then accused the ‘fake news’ of saying that he himself could not get off the stage, so he now makes a ‘modified version’ of his impression.
The former first lady has been absent from her husband’s side as he fights his multiple legal battles and campaigns for a second term in the White House.
One guest described her as being in “good spirits” and close to Trump throughout the night.
Photos and videos posted on social media show the victim dressed in a trendy black pantsuit and smiling broadly.
Trump was visibly happy to see her there. But what’s not clear is whether she will give him a boost in other areas of his life, particularly his numerous court cases.
The former first lady is popular among the MAGA faithful. The crowd cheers loudly every time Trump mentions her name during one of his campaign rallies.
He has never spoken publicly about the events of the January 6 insurrection (he was in the White House that day) or Trump’s attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
