Melania and Barron Trump were seen leaving Trump Tower in New York in the first time they have been seen in public since the former president was convicted in his hush money trial.
The mother and her 18-year-old son are believed to have remained sheltered in the downtown residence for 12 days after they arrived there on May 23, and were not seen leaving until Tuesday.
That was four days after Trump was found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records on Friday.
Leaving Trump Tower on Tuesday, Melania, 54, wore a $1,345 belted beige Max Mara jumpsuit and Roger Vivier ballet flats and carried a cognac-colored ostrich Hermés Kelly bag, which on the resale market commands a between 15,000 and 17,000 dollars.
Former first lady Melania Trump, 545, leaves Trump Tower in Manhattan on Tuesday with her 18-year-old son Barron, having entered 12 days earlier and not been seen since.
Meanwhile, Barron donned a navy blue and white button-down suit with no tie and one top button open.
Trump’s youngest son turned 18 in March and graduated from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach last month, while his father was on trial in his first criminal case and three others were ongoing against him.
Moments before they were photographed leaving Trump Tower, a porter loaded their Louis Vuitton luggage into the Secret Service motorcade. Barron’s initials, ‘BWT’, were included on a garment bag.
Trump was found guilty on May 20 of 34 felony counts related to falsifying business records over a hush payment to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.
She claims to have had a sexual encounter with Trump a decade earlier, which he has denied.

People close to the former first couple tell DailyMail.com that Melania’s first priority remains her son during her husband’s trial.
At the start of the trial in early May, Melania and Barron were kept in a “tight bubble” behind the walls of Mar-a-Lago. The former first lady can walk the beach and spend time at the spa behind the ornate doors of her Palm Beach residence.
People close to Melania told DailyMail.com that her top priority remains her 6ft 7in tall son, who despite looking like his father is a “little Melania”.
The mother-son duo entered Trump Tower on May 23 and were not seen leaving until Tuesday, five days after Donald Trump was found guilty of 34 felonies in the hush money trial in New York.
Trump’s sentencing for falsifying business records for hush money is set for July 11, just days before the Republican National Convention.
After Barron turned 18 earlier this year, reports emerged that he could be a delegate and nominate his father as the Republican presidential candidate at the Republican National Convention this summer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The couple’s only son was elected general delegate to formally nominate his father.
But Melania’s office said last month that her son would not be a delegate because he had “prior commitments.”
“While Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate for the Republican Party of Florida, he regrettably declines to participate due to prior commitments,” Melania Trump’s office said in a statement provided to DailyMail.com.
It is unclear if Barron will attend the convention this year from Monday, July 15 to Thursday, July 18.
