Spice Girl Melanie C entertained tennis fans on The Hill in New York for the Wimbledon final on Sunday.
Following the announcement that the Spice Girls will reform next year for their 30th anniversary, Barclays and Mel C, 49, treated fans to a fun performance featuring solo versions of the band’s classics.
Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz squared off on Center Court on the final day of the tennis championships, with the 20-year-old sports star ultimately taking victory.
Mel looked typically stylish in a satin black top tucked into sleek white pants as she showed off her vocal talents.
After performing Spice Up Your Life, he said: “Had a brilliant afternoon cheering on The Hill in New York yesterday, celebrating the best of Brits honoring Wimbledon in New York, it felt magical.”

James Bond actor Billy Magnussen, Queen Charlotte actor Sam Clemmett and former England rugby union player Ben Foden were also in the audience to watch the men’s and women’s finals over the weekend.
Novak has won seven times at Wimbledon and was chasing a record eighth.
But despite sometimes suffering from crippling nerves, such as at this year’s French Open, Carlos said: “It’s a final, there’s no time to be afraid.” I’ll go for it and we’ll see what happens.
After a grueling five-setter, Alcaraz was crowned the new king of Wimbledon after dethroning Djokovic on an enraptured court in one of the grand slam finals.
The young Spaniard appeared to be on his way to victory as he rallied from a nervous start to take a two sets to one lead only for Djokovic to display his remarkable staying powers once again.
It was he who appeared on the rise early in the fifth set, but the 20-year-old Alcaraz returned to claim a 1-6, 7-6(6), 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 victory after four hours and 42 minutes, finally dealing a significant blow for the young guns against the man 16 years his senior.
It comes after Victoria Beckham disappointed her fellow Spice Girls by saying she will not appear at Glastonbury next year to mark their 30th anniversary.
Reports had claimed that the original five members would reunite in 2024 for a top position at Worthy Farm.
But a source close to Ms Beckham told The Mail on Sunday that she wants to focus on her fashion brand and will not tour with the band again despite their repeated pleas.

She hasn’t ruled out “some sort of another celebratory appearance,” though that doesn’t mean she’ll sing.
Ms. Beckham, 49, will take part in a documentary by Star Trek and Star Wars director JJ Abrams, which will tell the story of the band’s rise to stardom in the 1990s and will feature interviews and previously unseen footage from your personal files.
Abrams and his business partner, Hollywood film director Jason Hehir, are now benchmarking the project against streaming giants, including Netflix.
A source said: “Glastonbury is possibly the best concert on the planet, but Victoria won’t be doing it next year.”
“She has carved out a career as a fashion designer that has put blood, sweat and tears into it, so singing is something she should consider carefully.
“Unfortunately, she has been greatly ridiculed when she has sung in the past.
‘She’s a different person now. She fondly remembers hers her years in the Spice Girls were very special to her, so she hasn’t ruled out a celebration, perhaps, at some point.
“And Glastonbury is not at all interested in having the group without Posh, it just doesn’t have the same appeal.”
The mother-of-four was delighted earlier this year when revenue from her fashion and beauty range rose 42 per cent to £58m.
In 2019, the band embarked on a 13-date UK tour without Ms. Beckham, nicknamed Posh Spice during her time with the group.

One of the potential dates discussed was a headlining slot at next year’s Glastonbury and promoters were hopeful Victoria would agree to join Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton for a performance there (pictured: the Spice Girls in 2007)
She told Vogue at the time: “It took me a lot of courage not to go on tour with the Spice Girls again, but to be the one to say, ‘You know, I’m not going to do it because things feel different now than they do.’ they used to.’
She was recently polled again about her return to the Spice Girls for what would have been the first concerts with the full original line-up since the closing ceremony of the London Olympics in 2012.

Speculation has also increased after this year’s festival was dominated by male artists like the Arctic Monkeys and Elton John, prompting calls for a bigger female presence next year.
