Megyn Kelly's dystopian prediction for America if Kamala wins: 'Insanity on steroids'

No matter who is elected president on Tuesday, America has a tough road ahead, Megyn Kelly says.

But if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the White House, the veteran journalist paints a truly dystopian vision of the country’s future.

A Harris victory “would be a very dark day,” Kelly tells DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview just days before the 2024 election.

On the one hand, Kelly, who is the host The Megyn Kelly Show – has no faith that Harris will confront the country’s devastating illegal immigrant crisis.

‘How are we going to stop the flow of illegals into this country?’ —Kelly asks. “(Harris) isn’t interested in doing that at all, just like her boss wasn’t interested in doing that.”

A Kamala Harris victory “would be a very dark day,” Kelly tells DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview just days before the 2024 election.

Kelly also insists that Harris has not expressed a willingness to expel any of the approximately 10 million illegals who have crossed into the United States in the past four years.

‘He has not even pretended that he is going to get rid of even the worst criminal elements, the Venezuelan gang members. He hasn’t even pretended that he’s going to deport them,” Kelly said. “That really fundamentally transforms the country into something very dangerous.”

And all this is just the tip of the iceberg, he warns.

“Trans madness will explode on steroids,” says Kelly, who frequently denounces the left’s progressive transgender ideology.

In fact, Harris has yet to say whether she will stop taxpayer-funded sex-change operations for inmates, something she previously endorsed during her failed 2020 presidential campaign.

When Harris was recently pressed on the matter, she only said that as president she would “follow the law,” which currently allows such procedures to be funded with public money.

As for Americans experiencing the worst price inflation in 40 years, Kelly warns that Harris offers little chance for relief.

“Our economy will continue to stagnate and our taxes will increase,” Kelly says. “I think all the fantastic plans that she threw out like candy to these leftists, none of them are going to pass.”

That said, Kelly has no illusions about Trump’s likely response to an election loss.

“He would take it very hard,” Kelly predicts, though she hopes he handles the disappointment better than he did in 2020. “I think being the incumbent and getting fired is worse than being an outsider.”

“I don’t think he’d say he lost fairly,” he says. ‘We’ll see about the real electoral fraud. He will probably claim it without evidence, as we saw last time.

However, if the election goes the other way, Kelly warns that Democrats will do “everything they can” to prevent Trump from being inaugurated a second time.

“We’ll have from November 5th until mid-January, (Democrats) trying to find a way to stop him from actually being sworn in and being sworn in,” he says.

“It will mainly revolve around lawfare and trying to get declarations that he is an insurrectionist, something like that.”

And after all that, Kelly says, America would suffer four years of Democratic “nervous breakdown.”

In that case, the future of the United States would depend on the balance of power in the House and Senate.

Kelly believes Democrats will launch multiple congressional investigations if Trump wins and attempt to impeach him a third time within the first month of his second term.

This “nervous breakdown” scenario becomes even darker if those attempts fail.

The losers, he says, “will try to undermine (Trump) every step of the way…they will hinder Trump’s agenda, just as Republicans would try to hinder (Harris’s agenda).”

Referring to Democrats violently comparing Trump to Hitler in recent days, Kelly says, “The dark hyperbole will persist; I’m not sure how you can go to the next level with Trump.” Jeffrey Dahmer? Charles Manson? Let’s see how they handle it. They will try to improve themselves, and it will be constant, and the media will be complicit. It will be difficult for us just to open the newspaper in the morning.

Kelly suggests that the mainstream media has already shown its hand, especially in its coverage of the allegations made against Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff.

The second gentleman faces two serious accusations which were exclusively reported by the Mail.

First, that Emhoff cheated on his first wife with his daughter’s nanny and allegedly got her pregnant.

No one from the Harris campaign, the Emhoff camp, or the nanny ring has denied any part of the story. Emhoff has since admitted to the affair.

Second, Emhoff has also been accused of slapping an ex-girlfriend in public.

An anonymous representative for Emhoff has said that the report is “false” and that “any suggestion that (Emhoff) would or would ever hit a woman is false.”

“Thank God for the Daily Mail,” Kelly said. ‘(The slap accusation) has been absolutely ignored by all the media and all center-left politicians. “It has been absolutely abhorrent.”

‘There’s only one reason this one didn’t get coverage, and that’s because he’s Kamala Harris’ husband… This totally undermines the story they’ve been trying to sell us about this guy being our new version of masculinity.

But not everything is pessimism from the point of view of this experienced journalist. She’s excited about the prospect of a Trump presidency and the “Marvel cast” of new talent he could bring to the federal government if he wins, such as businessman Vivek Ramaswamy and former congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.

It’s an interesting panoply of generals that he brings,” Kelly says. ‘Political generals like Elon Musk, who promises he’ll find efficiencies in government. We’re slimming down a federal government that’s too bloated, it’s a joy to think about.’

On Tuesday, November 5, Kelly will host a panel of experts on her show. His guests will include the Mail’s Maureen Callahan and leading conservative pundits such as the Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro.
