“There’s no way I’m letting her play – I don’t care who I offend. There’s no way. And I recommend parents do the same, because your child might actually get hurt .

The former ESPN 12 p.m. (ET) SportsCenter co-host said she had to “pick her battles” while working on the show because she knew “there are certain things that we we’re not going to report”.
“It’s not even controversial,” she said. It’s stupid that this is even a topic with trans-biological men trying to play sports with women…it’s a load of bullshit.
Speaking of current female ESPN sportscasters, she fumed: “The fact that they’re all silent disgusts me, because of the way they talked about, say, the reversal of Roe v Wade and women’s rights.”
“I feel compelled, with my platform, whatever that looks like right now, as a sportscaster for 28 years, to talk about it openly and stop ignoring it,” Steele added.
“It’s an issue that I think if we came together as women, just sports broadcasters – women – it would go away.
