Megan Kelly launched a shockingly rude attack on CNN journalist Kaitlan Collins.
During a Tuesday night episode of The Megan Kelly Show, the commentator didn’t hold back when discussing Collins with radio producer Stu Burguiere and podcaster Stephen L. Miller.
While Kelly, a former Fox News and NBC host, believes Collins “is biased,” she said the host’s “biggest sin” is that “she’s extremely boring and has no personality.”
“I have some pro advice for her: Smile. Try to smile. Try not to be a ruthless bitch all the time, because that doesn’t give people anything to connect with,” Kelly said.
The trio went on to criticize Collins’ appearance on the Bill Maher show on Friday. She ate the late night show, where the host criticized her for The left-wing network is enthusiastic about the vice president Kamala Harris at the Democratic National Convention.
On Tuesday night, Megan Kelly called Kaitlan Collins “extremely boring” and a “heartless bitch.”
Kelly also said Collins has “no personality” and “is biased,” making it difficult for people to “connect” with her. (Pictured: Collins in New York at the US Open on Monday)
“I’m sorry, but she’s just a star among leftists,” Kelly said of Collins, while also mentioning the host’s “Alabama roots,” which she discussed with Maher.
“I’m from Alabama. I’m from a very red state. I have a very conservative family. A lot of them are Trump voters,” Collins said Friday.
“They watch my show every night, and I think they know they can trust me, that, you know, we call lies from all sides, not just from the biases of our audience, and I think that’s something that people really want more of.”
Kelly strongly disagreed with Collins, saying her statement only let viewers know that “Donald Trump is evil.”
“The bottom line here is that Donald Trump is evil – that’s what we really need to know,” Kelly said.
The trio criticized Collins’ appearance Friday on Bill Maher’s late-night show, where the host criticized her for the left-wing network’s “enthusiasm” about Vice President Kamala Harris at the Democratic National Convention.
“And she was there suggesting that CNN is fair in its coverage and that CNN can be trusted, you’ve heard her make that claim before.”
Kelly then shared a compilation of CNN’s coverage with Collins and her colleagues.
“But CNN is nothing but fair, ‘nothing but fair,’ guys,” Kelly said sarcastically to Burguiere and Miller.
Miller chimed in and mentioned another awkward moment Collins had on a recent episode of Stephen Colbert’s show, where her audience laughed after she referred to the network as “objective.”
The podcaster said that while Collins claimed the network “talks to lawmakers on both sides,” she did not address “how it treats people on both sides differently.”
The podcaster said that while Collins has claimed the network “talks to lawmakers on both sides of the aisle,” she failed to mention “how it treats people on both sides of the aisle differently.”
‘How she’s combative with Ted Cruz, or you know, how she cuts off an interview if someone says something about COVID or something.
“She’s shut out Republicans and she’s never shut out a Democrat,” Miller added.
Kelly chimed in again, saying that “people are fed up with this bullshit” and “can’t stand being force-fed this nonsense by these mainstream media outlets.”
The host then took the opportunity to highlight “a point of pride” for The Megyn Kelly Show, which recently reached more than a billion views on YouTube.
He then proceeded to mention how his show has “outperformed” other media outlets, including CBS News and NBC News, among others.
“Even surpassing CNN, which has a very large and successful YouTube channel,” Kelly said.
In June, Kelly called CNN host Kasie Hunt “weak” following her meltdown over claims that moderators for the network’s upcoming presidential debate could be “biased.”
The former Fox News host attacked Hunt on her show, saying she “shamed humanity” with her public outcry.
“She embarrassed the journalists and CNN,” Kelly said. “Her shyness came through loud and clear, she was shaking.”
Kelly’s comments came days after Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt was unceremoniously booted from Hunt’s show when she argued that moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash would not treat Trump “fairly” during a debate.
The CNN anchor took umbrage that Leavitt mentioned previous instances in which Tapper and Bash appeared to side with Trump in their coverage.
Leavitt was quickly interrupted while giving her opinion, later commenting that the incident “just proves our point that President Trump will not be treated fairly in the debate on Thursday.”
“CNN cutting off my microphone for mentioning a debate moderator’s history of anti-Trump lies only proves our point that President Trump will not be treated fairly in Thursday’s debate,” he said at the time.
‘Still, President Trump is still willing to enter this 3-1 fight to get his winning message to the American people, and he will win.’
