Meghan McCain criticized Kamala Harris for sharing a story about her late father at a rally in Arizona and threatened to reveal the “real” things she said about the vice president.
The presidential candidate claimed the late Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain praised her when they worked together on a Senate committee at a Republicans for Harris rally in Scottsdale on Friday.
She said they were “going after each other” during a committee hearing, but he later praised her. fox news reported.
“Later that day, I stepped onto the floor of the Senate well (we were having votes) and walked past John McCain, and he looked at me and said, ‘Boy, come here. You’re going to make a great senator. “True story,” Harris said.
However, the late senator’s daughter, Meghan McCain, 39, posted on X criticizing the vice president for invoking her father’s name.

“I know the Democrats want to reinvent history and turn my dad into whatever illusion you need him to be, depending on what political moment you need to screw with his memory,” he said.

“Consider this my final warning shot: I’ll start spilling tea.”
Early voting is already underway in the crucial battleground state of Arizona, and Harris’ campaign has been seeking to court Republican voters.
In September, the late senator’s youngest son announced he would vote for Kamala Harris while admonishing Donald Trump for his incident at Arlington National Cemetery.

‘I feel that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz embody a group of people who will help improve this country, who will move us forward. And that’s really what matters at the end of the day: vote with your heart, vote how you feel in the future, and that’s how I feel,” Jimmy McCain, 36, told CNN.
He recently changed his party registration from independent to Democrat. He previously stayed out of politics and expressed his decision in personal terms.
Jimmy McCain, the latest in a long line of McCains to serve in the military, also criticized Trump over a report of a physical altercation involving a campaign staffer at Arlington National Cemetery.
His mother, Cindy McCain, endorsed Joe Biden in 2020, despite his father’s former associations with the Republican Party and his run as the party’s presidential candidate in 2008.
