Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband, Second Gentlemen Doug Emhoff, is on a mission!
OK, I know what you’re thinking.
First, “Who is Doug Emhoff?” And second: ‘Who cares!’ But listen to him.
Doug has an urgent message for you super-aggressive men. He says – you better relax, relax, grow a man bun.
Here he is in a new interview with MSNBC’s Jonathan Carehart:
“Can we talk about masculinity for a second?” asks Capehart. “Has being a second gentleman changed your view of perceived gender roles and what it means to be a man?”
“Whew,” Emhoff replied, wide-eyed. “This is something I’ve thought about a lot, I’ve talked about it a lot. There’s too much toxicity — male toxicity there is.”
I’m sorry – what the hell is he talking about?
Doug Emhoff, who prior to his history-making service as our first second gentleman, was a powerful lawyer, who once represented pharmaceutical giant Merck, major corporations, such as Walmart and Comcast, and an arms dealer, who sold AK-47s around the world.
And now he wants America to know that he is 100% totally, totally, absolutely cool in his wife’s shadow.
“Whew,” Emhoff (top right) replied with wide eyes. “This is something I’ve thought about a lot, I’ve talked about it a lot. There’s too much toxicity — male toxicity there is.”

Doug has an urgent message for you super-aggressive men. He says – you better relax, relax, grow a man bun.
“I will continue to use this platform every time I get to speak out against this toxic masculinity out there,” he said.
Uhh… maybe we’re overcompensating a little bit?
“It shouldn’t even be a big deal that I’m a man, going forward,” he told CNN in October.
Guess what, Doug. It’s not a big deal. The only one talking about your role as second lord… is you!
Anyway, he’s on a crusade to fight “toxic masculinity.”
So what does that mean? Well, actually nothing.
In all his chatter, Emhoff fails to define “toxic masculinity” or explain why he considers it one of the most pressing issues in our country.
To be clear, this vague mission is an indictment of the cowboy, the astronaut, the man in the arena. It raises suspicions about alpha behavior and traditional gender roles. Qualities sane societies embrace, such as masculine stoicism and single-mindedness of purpose that America once recognized as honorable, are now “poisonous.”
It’s all typical waking nonsense about our evil male-dominated society, micro-aggressions and scattering people and berating people.
You could point to any male entertainer — from Rip on Yellowstone to Maximus in Gladiator to Sergeant Horvath in Saving Private Ryan — traditional masculinity, service, and a willingness to defend your family and your country are all belittled by the American left.
Listen – we can have a conversation about what makes a man a man, but look around you.
The men of America are in a real crisis. We don’t have to invent it.
Now more than ever in modern America, the nation needs men to step back, not step back.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that more than 7 million men ages 25 to 54 will leave the workforce in 2022. According to BLS, they spend nearly seven hours a day on leisure activities such as watching TV or playing video games.
At a time when American companies are desperate for employees, this is a striking red warning sign.
Pew Research found that about six in ten young men reported being single by 2022. A number that continues to rise as birth rates continue to fall in America.
In 2020, researchers at Indiana University said nearly one in three men aged 18-24 reported not having had sexual activity in the past year.
The National Safety Council revealed that by 2021, seven in 10 victims of preventable opioid deaths in America will be men.
But anyway, Doug, shame on men for their “toxic masculinity,” as if they don’t have enough to worry about already.
All jokes aside, it’s infuriating.
There was a literal toxic train accident in East Palestine, Ohio.
Emhoff, Harris and President Joe Biden haven’t even visited the city, which is full of desperate men, women and children, who are getting sick, fearing for their futures and begging the federal government for help, but he talks about “toxic masculinity’. ‘?
Wow, if you thought Kamala was an out-of-touch liberal elitist – meet Doug.
This well-to-do attorney for controversial clients, living in the vice president’s residence, on the grounds of the United States Naval Observatory, tells men how “toxic” they are?

There was a literal toxic train accident in East Palestine, Ohio, but he’s talking about “toxic masculinity”?
Of course, he feels comfortable taking a step back, resisting “traditional” gender roles, and letting his wife take the spotlight. That’s easy to say when you’re a man who has nothing to do but chase imaginary crises.
But what about everyone else?
Emhoff is not alone in his obsession. Democrats and the liberal media have focused on “toxic masculinity” for years. These tone-deaf, virtue-signaling liberal critics are always on the hunt for cultural monsters to slay.
But it would be wiser for all of us to focus on why so many men feel uninspired and lonely, unable to raise a family, stressed from the COVID hangover, and lost without community or purpose.
Emhoff would make better use of his time exploring why so many men use drugs to fill voids in their lives.
I suggest that many men feel undermined and isolated by a culture that claims to have no place for them, even though it needs them more than ever.
Instead, Emhoff constructs this stooge of an over-aggressive man, who should try to empower women to better themselves.
What a waste!
It’s fine and right to encourage men to support women, especially in a family, but it’s also critical to support men in the traditional gender roles that have gone out of fashion for many people in liberal circles.
Can we all please stop demonizing men in general?
Enough with this absurdity.
America needs its men and what they bring to the world is not poisonous.
It’s essential.
